Our Hygge advice

Leave during the week if you can. Ski during the week and you will often be alone in paradise. And plan to get back to the motel before night—there's nothing better than tea under a blanket after a day in the snow. 🧡

There are places that stop you in your tracks. The Massif de Charlevoix is one of them. Perched at an altitude of 806 meters with the St. Lawrence in the background, it is the largest drop east of the Canadian Rockies and one of the most spectacular views you can get from skis.

The ski area extends over 53 trails and woods (406 acres), with an incredible off-road playground. Beginners, intermediates and experts all find happiness there — the terrain for the less advanced is mainly found at the summit and in the Camp Boule area, while intermediates enjoy long, sustained trails spread all over the mountain.

And when the ski land, the adventure continues: a 7.5 km luge track descends the entire altitude of the resort — the longest in North America. Do it at least once, preferably at night.
